Classes
Tennis lessons are different for all players. Many beginners require heavy technical training and conditioning exercises to be able to rally or play a match. Intermediate players learn to add variety in their shots and can depend on consistency to constuct points in their favor. Advanced players are looking for a mental edge and focus on strategy and patterns to achieve success. If you feel you improve in tennis with each lesson, the learning process becomes fun and working on any basic facet of the game can bring you joy.
Private Lessons
Private Lessons are the best way to provide specific technical training to fit your individual needs. Whether you are a beginner learning the basics or an advanced player looking to gain an extra edge on your opponent, I can formulate a simple lesson plan to help you achieve your goals.
Private Lessons are wasted without practice so I encourage all of my students to rally with anyone to see how you play under pressure or with strangers. Students usually return with valuable feedback if they discover they have trouble with a particular player or shot.
Private Lessons are available seven days a week and times are booked on a first come first serve basis. Call or email for rates and available times.
Group Lessons
Group Lessons are geared towards letting students gain experience by rallying with each other and playing games. Lessons have a small focus on technique and emphasize fast paced drills to keep the students active and on their toes. Students get to experience different styles of play and gain confidence to play tennis with other players of various levels.
Group Lessons create a community of local tennis players and gives students the opportunity to network with others around the area who also enjoy the sport. With more exposure to different players, students are able to feel more comfortable when facing new opponents for the first time.
Stringing
New string technology is constantly changing. Stringing service is available for players who want to try a new string, tension or hybrid combo. I have a limited selection of strings to choose from or I can also order a specific string of your choice. A professional stringer at your local tennis shop is recommended for players who restring often with multiple racquets.
